A THESIS PROJECT that showed what I learned before.
What is the project about?
Inspiration from Picasso and his friend Carlos Casagemas' story. Connecting the story with Picasso's painting La Vie(1903), I want to create a basic gaming level which relates to this background with characters in Unreal.
The level will base on the cafe Els Quatre Gats. Every things in level will have Picasso's blue period style (include the characters). Characters will base on La Vie.
Changes and difference are exist.
I want to tell the story (Picasso's financial problems, Carols Casagemas' death, and others) through the environment and NPC chats.
Story:
If time is a book shelf, life is one of the book of this shelf.
"The Blue Cafe" is a page of live. Time visitors find this place incidentally.
You can say that this place is a Picasso dream. Or it is another story - Living is a kind of pain. But it isn't hopeless.
