Desk Design Changed

The Old one didn't fit the old cafe style... David suggested me to change the design of the desk. I tried to make some changes. 
The left one is the old design. The left is new.

Texture test

I used Substance Painter to test the texture.
Painted all, and used studio light in Substance Painter.

Trying to draw draft blue print for Le 4 Gats


I put objects with textures into UE4.

The chair will be the scale reference of all objects.

Assets list were created.
I am working on modeling objects.

Blue Cafe Shop

What is this project?

A THESIS PROJECT that showed what I learned before.

What is the project about?

Inspiration from Picasso and his friend Carlos Casagemas' story. Connecting the story with Picasso's painting La Vie(1903), I want to create a basic gaming level which relates to this background with characters in Unreal.
The level will base on the cafe Els Quatre Gats. Every things in level will have Picasso's blue period style (include the characters). Characters will base on La Vie.

Changes and difference are exist.

I want to tell the story (Picasso's financial problems, Carols Casagemas' death, and others) through the environment and NPC chats.


Story:




If time is a book shelf, life is one of the book of this shelf.

"The Blue Cafe" is a page of live. Time visitors find this place incidentally.

You can say that this place is a Picasso dream. Or it is another story - Living is a kind of pain. But it isn't hopeless.

1.Getting objects (as reference) WHICH IN Els Quatre Gats from Picasso's blue period painting as many as possible.  
2.Transforming the cafe into 3D with Bule Period's style.
